Can Can time!

It’s the time of year that makes me think of knitting projects again! This frilly cushion was knitted using Rico Can Can.

My yarn review is now here on Minerva Crafts blog 😃

Pomegranate

A new pattern has been released by Octavia Patterns this week. Pomegranate Is a simple bias cut top that has only two pattern pieces so is a nice quick make.

I was lucky enough to take part in the pattern testing process.

I liked it so much I made two!

I have found these tops are perfect for me for work as they easy to move around in and the drape front isn’t to low.

The Flo dress

A couple of months ago I was included in a group of pattern testers to test the Flo Dress before its release.

This dress is the latest PDF release for Sew Me Wear Me and is a classic little girls dress with a lined bodice, full skirt & zip closure. Using a range of fabrics I can see this as a versatile everyday or party dress.

I chose to make my version in a cotton print in an age 3, using the same fabric to line. With its simple lines I happily stitched it up in an afternoon after cutting out the evening before. Great for this busy nanna!

My little granddaughter seemed equally impressed & happily modelled her new dress.

Her order is in for another one for nanna to make her for her birthday…. one with snowflakes on like in Frozen😃

You can now get the Flo Dress pattern here
