Coutil Fabric.

I have made a few corsets and strapless bodices before and love the structure you can achieve using coutil and boning.

Coutil is a firm woven fabric especially made for this purpose and Minerva Crafts sent me a piece of a lovely Jacquard design Coutil free of charge for me to try out and review. My review is now live on their Blog

I choose to make a 2 layer lace up corset using Simplicity 1183, one of their Amazing Fit patterns.

Outer fabric is microfibre fabric purchased from Minerva Crafts & spiral boning was purchased from Sew Curvy
